INDONESIAN COAL SUPPLY CHAIN TIMELINE
From Concession Vetting to Mother Vessel Dispatch
01 —Corporate Compliance & Document Verification
To secure physical coal allocations and initiate trade compliance, the Buyer must formally submit their complete corporate dossier via our secure channels. This includes a signed Letter of Intent (LOI) or Irrevocable Corporate Purchase Order (ICPO), a comprehensive Company Profile (CP), a fully executed Client Information Sheet (CIS / KYC), valid Business Licenses, and a clear Passport Copy of the authorized corporate signatory. Comprehensive background, corporate profiling, and financial compliance checks are executed on all counter-parties to establish a secure, legitimate transactional foundation. No resource reviews or official offers are issued without full document verification.
01 — Inland Mine-Mouth Loading
Sourced coal allocations are checked for environmental impurities directly at the mine mouth. Once cleared, the material is systematically transferred to specialized river-side jetties and stockpiles to prevent cross-contamination.
02 — Inland & River Barging
Utilizing vetted domestic river barges, the secured coal allocations are transported along controlled river corridors, moving efficiently from the inland mine concessions out toward strategic deep-water maritime channels.
03 — Quality Verification
Before any final offshore loading occurs, world-class independent surveyors (SGS or equivalent) conduct 100% transparent verification of quality, moisture, and weight at the loading zone to ensure absolute compliance with your exact LOI specifications
04 — Mother Vessel (MV) Transshipment
At deep-water anchorage points, we execute high-rate transshipment from the river barges into ocean-going Mother Vessels (MV) using heavy-duty floating cranes. This optimizes laytime, prevents demurrage, and finalizes the secure bulk delivery to international destination ports.
COMMERCIAL SINGLE-GATE PATHWAY
Aligned with Indonesia’s Latest Export Regulations
In accordance with the latest regulations issued by the Government of Indonesia, all coal export transactions facilitated by our department are processed through the designated single-gate export framework under PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (PT DSI).
This structured pathway ensures full regulatory compliance, streamlined export authorization, and seamless coordination with the relevant government authorities throughout the export process. By adhering to this nationally mandated framework, every shipment is handled in accordance with current Indonesian export requirements, providing greater transparency, regulatory certainty, and operational efficiency for international buyers.
